An Entertaining and Educational Event at Redding's Sundial Bridge

This year's CCPCA Conference was held in Shasta County.  Friday's dynamic speakers and programs were informative and educational, focusing on a variety of topics including Healthy Communities (see Video Here) and Housing (see Video Here).  Commissioners and Planning Professionals from throughout our great state attended this stimulating and enriching event.  Our Saturday  Field Trip was highlighted by tours of the Shasta Dam and the SPI Biomass Cogeneration Plant.   The event closed on Saturday evening with a reception and banquet at the Turtle Bay Museum, featuring Keynote Speaker Leticia Perez, Kern County Supervisor and President of the California State Association of Counties

The 88th annual General Conference of the California County Planning Commmisiioners' Association has been hosted by the Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge, with easy access to the Sacramento River Trail System, Turtle Bay Museum, and Arboretum,
